2022 real property law institute registration now open

The 2022 Real Property Law Institute will be held May 19 - May 21, 2022 at the Omni Hilton Head Resort in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Real Property Law Section - January 13 CLE

Real Property Law Section Members:


While we look forward to a return to an in-person, all-day seminar, the Real Property Law Section Residential Subcommittee Residential Seminar again will be virtual in 2022. However, the 2022 Residential Seminar will be presented in three 2-hour sessions, spread-out over 3 days, 5 weeks apart. Feel free to register for 1, 2 or 3 of the sessions, whichever fits your schedule. The cost is $20 per session, and credit is given for general CLE hours, pending approval.


Here is the 2022 Residential Seminar Schedule:

  • Thursday, January 13, 2022, 10 - 11 a.m.: Jack Keeler, Flagstar Bank, presenting Tour de Mortgage Finance
  • Thursday, January 13, 2022, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Kenneth Stroud, CATIC, presenting Bankruptcies on Title: Avoiding Pitfalls and Getting to the Closing Table
  • Thursday, February 3, 2022, 10 - 11 a.m.: Chad Hunt, FBI, presenting Cyber – An Enterprise Risk: Best Practices and Lessons Learned
  • Thursday, February 3, 2022, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Jonathan S. R. Anderson, and Tucker Dulong, CATIC, presenting 2021 ALTA forms: key changes and additions
  • Thursday, February 17, 2022, 10 - 11 a.m.: Jane Bond, McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce, LLC, presenting eNotes and Foreclosure of eNotes
  • Thursday, February 17, 2022, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Allie Jett, Jett Law Group, presenting Process and Substance of a Quiet Title Action

Before registering, please click here and enter your first and last name in the top right hand corner where you see Member Directory, and verify which email address the State Bar has on file. If the email address on file isn't correct, you will not receive your Zoom link. If you need to change your email address on file with the State Bar, please call our Membership Department at 404-527-8777 or email membership@gabar.org. If you end up changing  your email address with the State Bar, wait 24 hours after doing so before registering.


Click here to register for the January 13 webinar. Registration closes January 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. and no further registrations will be accepted after that time. After registration closes on the 12th, you'll receive an email with the Zoom credentials you'll use to join the webinar. If not in your inbox, please check your spam folder for the message. Email blasts with registration links for the February webinars will be circulated in January.
